FFGreEN Team Presented a Paper at the E2025 Conference – International Conference on Energy and Environment


Members of the FFGreEN project team participated in the E2025 – International Conference on Energy and Environment, held in Belgrade from 19–21 November 2025. The team presented the research paper titled:

 

“Decarbonization of Serbian District Heating Sector – The Analysis of Scenarios”

Dejan Stojanović (District Heating Business Association Toplane Srbije),

Boban Pavlović (University of Belgrade – Faculty of Mining and Geology)

The paper was presented within the conference session:

Decarbonization, Efficiency, Energy Resources, Sustainable Development and Competitiveness, (

which focuses on contemporary technological and policy solutions for the transition of energy systems.

The study analyzes multiple decarbonization pathways for the Serbian district heating sector, evaluating technical, economic, and environmental implications of different long-term scenarios. Results contribute to the broader goals of the FFGreEN project, emphasizing evidence-based decision-making in energy planning and the practical applicability of sustainable heating strategies in Serbia.

Prof. Dr. Dejan Ivezić also received an official certificate for the delivered presentation, formally acknowledging his contribution to the conference program.
